The 1979 team was before my time but I found this interesting to watch.

I remember this game well. I thought the Saints had it wrapped up.

I attended that game, we were rocking the first half. By the fourth quarter, we were just down and out. Never felt so bad about a football game.

I watched it live… don’t want to see it again. My 15 year old self was not happy. MNF was a lot bigger deal back in the day and It was rare for the Saints to play on MNF. They looked amazing in the first half and the opposite in the second half. Seem to remember a Galbreath fumble being huge. Bad memories

I remember it being brutally cold. A front had swept through during the day.

I can assure you it was not interesting as a kid that got to stay up late to watch the Saints blow a 35-14 lead and a shot at a winning record
