Seriously, until we find a qb, we need to be eyeing these guys that are mid-20s past top picks. With how rushed 1st round QBs are now, there's extreme value in acquiring one of these guys... not all players are ready straight out the gate.

Him or Kenny Pickett would have been a better move to bring in to compete with Rattler instead of burning 40 on Shough.

Mac Jones probably would have worked well with KM.

Could have used that pick on a Defensive player or OL.

But, even if he was here. The team is so Chaotic, who knows. If he would have had any success.

Mac Jones would be flattened behind turnstile Ruiz as he throws up a prayer to can’t separate Olave or can’t catch Johnson.

We need more than a QB. So so much more.

Makes you wonder why they're paying Purdy so much.

I questioned that move last year. He's a game manager that got paid like a true difference maker

What’s the point of this statement. We still would have to find a qb.

Huge hole at edge and corner,

Will Johnson, Trey Amos, Ezeriku or Mike Green all available.

Hes getting paid like he can go to another team and make them a contender.

I think he gets demolished if he goes somewhere else.

I prefer to build a team up first before trying to find your long term qb or you end up with a situation like Burrow getting beat to shite or your defense being crap and no chance to win.

Mac Jones has more games throwing for over 275 and 65% completion than any qb in the league. And he hasn’t started two games.

Saints might have a chance at another Baker Mayfield situation in the offseason.

Never mind, I thought he signed a one year deal. That was stupid on his part.

No but I could see a team giving up a 2nd if he keeps playing good. Or maybe Shanny ships Purdy off.

He's proving himself so far. He isn't much of a downfield passer but has been throwing receivers open for YAC. Rams pummeled him but he still made play after play in the clutch.

If the Saints end up with a top 3 pick, having Jones and then being able to use that pick on the best overall non-QB player in the draft could be their best move.
