Who's going to teach them that?

Big Cat Drill for an hour every day before practice with OL and TEs. Then maybe some footwork drills to help them stop stepping on each other.

No way the OL can continue to get worse, right?

It’s not just physicality it’s mostly technical. They do simple things terribly like combo to backer, flattening out, and having eyes inside first then helping when uncovered. They are really at a JV level from a mental standpoint.

It’s laughable how some of you think the O-line can resolve its issues over night.

Said it after week 1 we will be saying why isnt the OL getting for the whole season. Thats just how it works at LSU if its a problem at the beginning of the season it will be a problem the whole season. Nothing ever gets fixed. See QB's under les Miles, Defense before this Year, OL last and this year etc..

Brad Davis has yet to produce an SEC caliber line. Prove me wrong.

I don’t think anyone thinks the issues can be fixed over night. I am not going to begin to try to figure out the technical stuff they are doing wrong, I don’t know line play at that level. But what I can say is they play soft and appear not to have a mean streak. Let’s start addressing that and go from there.

They should have to go through QB/RB appreciation day.

Line them up back there and let the LBs tee off on them behind an offensive line of receivers and walk-ons. Blitz the shite out of them.

Make them have a bit more understanding of how much everyone else is hauling putting up with their shite.

Other than ‘21 Florida game and JD, we haven’t been able to run the ball effectively since he got here. And the big issue in ‘21 that former players pointed out was the OL didn’t look like they knew basic blocking.
