Relieve Sloan of playcalling duties immediately

We still have a shot. Sloan is not fricking it.
If we see this, we lose to A&M and Bama no doubt. Probably OU as well. Now even Vandy and Scar.
Can’t score over 20 on a real opponent?

If he doesn’t change Sloan in the bye week I’ll stop watching them play. If he truly believes Nuss isn’t the problem, then he better fricking fix what is.

The issue is, the offensive staff is not rich with former player callers. You may have to hire a consultant to come in during the off week.

Yep.
I’m not going to say Denbrock was a great OC, but BK hitched his wagon to Sloan/Hankins for recruiting purposes and it’s sinking his last best shot at a championship.
Alex Atkins was OC at FSU, but his tenure was unceremonious.
LSU has used up one of its 2 games margin for error. If it SOMEHOW wasn’t clear there were big issues with the offense before yesterday, it HAS to be now. LSU has a bye week. Now is the time to make big adjustments to what they are trying do
Perhaps Sloan can take the George Costsnza approach of purposely going against every natural instinct he has

Will it really change anything? BK had a headset on and heard the 2pt conversion play call and still let it happen.
Who would want to take over the play calling just to pick from the same 10 plays we have?

I wrote this in August... most of y'all disagreed...
"I love LSU and am not generally negative but, to me, he's a lazy HC.... Poor choice of OC[u]. Will never win the NC."

Completely agree. The season could still be successful but Kelly won't do it. Im done with him.

Amen! I can get behind that

2pt conversion

He's not gonna do it.
He didn't do anything about the defense in 2023. Why would he do anything about the offense in 2025?

It's at the 2 1/2 yd line.
Which is why it was so stupid to not go for 2 after the 2 offsides on Ole Miss on the first TD in the 1st quarter. The ball would have been basically on the 1/2 yd line.
But BK isn't too bright.

It is not just play calling, but play design, which is the OC's job. How about that play call and design for the two pt conversion? Was that not the most pathetic call you have ever witnessed under the circumstances? I have never seen worse.

Kelly is not relieving anyone of their duties during the season. He will let the ship go down and possibly make a change after the season, but it ain’t happening during the season.

There’s a recently unemployed Oklahoma State head coach who might be looking for something right now.

A guaranteed $10mm/year doesn’t help that any. The guaranteed part of that statement provides no incentive for him to get up off his arse and actually work.

I guess im old school but i always thought it was on the 3 or 3.5yd line.

The only obvious play call that was pathetic was the 2 point conversion
Nuss made 2 bad throws that should have been TD's, one was intercepted and the other one was a PI that we got bailed out of when Hilton was wide open and had to stop. If those 2 throws are TD's the Sloan is a lot better OC today
