how can bama sign so many people?

i heard they only had 13 scholarship but they have 27 commits? can someone please explain this

grayshirts, sign and place, private donation scholarships for athletes, attrition... you name it, they can finagle it.

They don't care about the details. They just want to portray that they are recruiting better than everyone else. Just like last year, they weren't #1 when the guys actually enrolled in school.

Even with all that shite...it still doesn't add up unless you assume that Tuscaloosa police will be arresting every Shula recruit in the next 8 months.

yeah but i though tyou can only have 85 scholarship players they must have more than that with last years recruiting class, this one, and only losing 9 seniors???

That is why Saban chose Bama. They teach that form of math in Bama schools and he new he needed to beef up his resume'. Plus he can use big words and the gumps will believe.

What did Saban do with them at LSU when he had 2 top classes in row. Wasn't it 2002/2003?
Last year we signed 32 players but only had 23 by the next fall. Quite a bit of attrition goes on. Part of the plan.
