One of the drafts that got us to where we are today. It’s been a few years so the results are in.
Admittedly, not my best work on evaluations. But still way better than what we ended up with.…
Moehrig is a solid starting safety that Carolina gave a huge contract to in the offseason. But he’s nothing special. But if we had drafted him, he saved us from giving Marcus Maye that huge contract and more future dead cap dollars after we cut him.
Boogie Basham, has basically been the same player as Turner. He was rotating on the Bills dline at one point but still a bust.
Quinn Meinerz, was voted first team all pro at right guard, so best in the league. Which is also our weakest position.
So basically he’d be our best player on the team.
Baron Browning, currently starting on the cardinals. Nothing special, but he’s starting caliber. Only Cardinal to get a sack in the home opener.
Jordan was the number two te on Houston until his injury and has started games. Would definitely be our number two right now. Ian book has done nothing.
So three of my 5 picks are nfl starters, one being voted the best at his position in the league. Saints drafted two starters in Werner and Adebo who both have been solid but nothing great.

Moehring in the first Basham in the 2nd Wouldnt make the trade with Denver. Would actually take the player they took with our pick Meinertz and either Browning who they also took or Cox Brevin Jordan in the 4th

Do you conduct your mock drafts in your man cave?

Nah, usually from your moms basement after I’m finished in the bedroom…
