Saw it happen. Was clear it was very bad based on how he wa holding it coming off.

Just terrible, was supposed to be his coming out party this season.
He will be missed however, if there was one position we could afford a season ending injury it would be at that spot.

Sucks for him, but the good thing is that it happened early enough in the season that he should be able to get a medical redshirt year if he wants one.

Will be interesting to see how they make up his snaps. I wouldn’t mind seeing Gooden kick out to take some of those reps. Could get Mathis more snaps in that scenario if Gooden gave 10-12 of his snaps at DE. They have plenty of options.

Shanklin looked the part at the end of southeastern. I know it was Southeastern, but I wonder if they scratch the redshirt plan. He probably has the most potential of the rest of the edge guys.

I wouldn't wish rotator cuff surgery rehab on my worst enemy. It is 4-6 months of utter misery. Good luck to him and I hope it goes well. Come back stronger than ever next year.
