Anyone planning to go see the MeatEater Live Christmas Tour while they tour the south this year? I've spent a bit of time watching their shows in recent years as I've gotten back into hunting. I'm looking forward to going to one while it's convenient.

Just bought a VIP ticket for Dallas. Brining them some deer curry.

I don’t know why (I’m willing to accept it may be a result of a fault of my own) but something about the mesteater crew and culture just does not sit well with me.

Its commercialization of something we all enjoy and that makes it weird. I dont like any hunting or fishing shows, but meat eater is the only one I can tolerate.

Wish they’d have had a stop in south LA. Closest show is Birmingham.
They’ve done the college football tailgate tour 2 years now and I can’t believe they haven’t come to LSU considering our reputation as arguably the best tailgating atmosphere in the country.

I think they have done more to make hunting palatable to the general public than any other group. I think it’s because of how much they talk about conservation and public lands and then how much they talk about the field to table stuff. My parents dont care about hunting and don’t watch anything else hunting related, but they watch MeatEater.

I really enjoyed Meateater when the show first came out. The two main reasons were it was not a big commercial for hunting products, and he did his cooking section of the show. I feel now it has become a giant commercial for First lite, FHF, and the other companies that are under the Meateater umbrella. I still listen to the podcast but I am no means a Meateater fan boy. No interest in seeing a live show of them.
