To what team does their Defense compare to that we have played ? Secondary is pretty weak. Nobody holding our WR'S down.

They’re probably most comparable to SLU so I guess we are scoring 50+

La Tech has a better defense than OM.

They will have some good athletes like Q Perkins and a few others.

Apparently they run a 3-3-5 like Tech which gave us trouble.

They are soft vs the run though giving up 5 ypc.

They gave up a ton of yards to the only competent QB they played this season. Its too early in the season to know if a team is good or bad based on national rankings because schedules are much different through 4 games. Ole Miss has given up 190 rushing yards a game. Even gave up a bunch to Georgia State, Tulane, and Kentucky.

Arkansas put up 526 total yards and Green went for over 300 yards with a QBR of 96.4.

TL,DR

I'll bet whatever you want Ole Miss doesn't finish top 30 in pass defense.

Sounds like it may be effective to run lots of under center, power run formation with play action passing if in fact that something Nuss is comfortable with

yes. that is EXACTLY what many of us have been saying

if we can get a good downhill run game going we win

plain and simple.

La Tech scoring defense rank: 24

Ole Miss scoring defense rank: 42

I'd avoid selectively pulling stats without knowing what you're talking about.

You don’t want to do that if you are stumping for a strong OM defense

We won't do anything, I'll give you the floor to rant on a mb when you know nothing of what you say.

I'll leave you with the following link showing total defense, ranked 72/79. Which is comparable, which is the point of the whole thread. LINK

As I have said, LSU will count itself fortunate to leave Oxford with a W this year.

lol that’s misleading. Teams don’t have to throw as much because their run defense is terrible.
