A US Senator died in a plane crash just days before the November 2002 midterm election. Anyone who listened to Rush Limbaugh remembers what made this so significant. The Democrats chose to go full on campaign rally instead of paying tribute to a senator who had just died. They went out of their way to paint anyone who opposed the late senator on any issue as a monster. Agree with him, repent, or you were the worst thing in the world. There was no alternative options.

And the Republicans? There were no protests. No mocking, dancing or vitriolic language. There was nothing but somber respect paid to one who died in a tragic accident.

Charlie Kirk was just a good citizen, a husband, father, not an elected official. And yet the Democrats have cheered more for his assassination than the capture of Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein.

There’s no point to even ask why.

Rush and Hannity both made sure the dems couldn’t sweep the Wellstone Memorial under the rug.

For those if you in Rio Linda, the dems turned a funeral into a disgusting political rally. Voters were so disgusted that they decided to vote GOP in the midterms.

And Wellstone would not have approved of it. Opposite of how he was. Mondale led the charge

Trent Lott and other Senate Republicans attended his memorial to pay their respects to the late Senator and were loudly booed and harassed; they were forced to leave the event. Ah...the tolerant Left.

I really hope tomorrow doesn’t do the same. I understand the anger by the Administration but I hope it is a positive message.

The world is watching and the progs will use anything to turn it into a negative.

Was this the funeral where Slick Willie was yucking it up until he spotted a tv camera and tried to squeeze out a tear?

Not sure many do. The president came within an inch or two of ending up the same way as Charlie. Then another stalker waited for him on his golf course.

This is far more personal than many people want to admit.

23 years ago, Republicans came to show their respects and were booed openly by those in attendance. They had done nothing wrong. What Democrats have done in the past week, year , 10 years … their desire to play politics has gone off the charts and fomented a level of hatred and divisiveness not seen in this country in decades. If not over 100 years.

No more will there be any more of this “both sides” nonsense. The Democrats have made sure of that.
