Not sure how I missed this movie as a kid. It was such a beautiful mess with a great cast. Anyone remember it?

Hell yeah I remember it it's one of those movies like Ice Pirates or Howard The Duck that's impossible for me to ever separate my childhood nostalgia from. Those movies will also be good to me.

It was so good that I think it could have been made into something bigger, but they couldn't come up with the right recipe to make it profitable with the first film.
It really was an artful mix of absurdism, sci fi, comedy all in just the right proportions. Everyone playing it straight only helped it.
