Anybody Else Notice A "Slight Difference" Regarding the Application of Cancel Culture?

1) Some idiots on the Left have FAFO'd for going on social media and cheering the cold-blooded murder of a man who meant them no harm.
2) Meanwhile, the Left is threatening to cancel a man like Chris Pratt, who simply expressed grief for the very same murder of a husband and father.
I see a "slight" difference between those two dynamics. Anybody else see it?

Its not "cancel culture" to remove people who publicly support murder from positions such as education and healthcare where they are responsible for the care of others, including minors. The act of publicly proclaiming your support of violent crime, especially murder, is not compatible with these career fields.
