What are the best apps for Audiobooks?

I am on the road a lot and enjoy listening to books on audible. I was wondering if this was the best option out there and what others use? I also listen to a lot of podcasts but I’m pretty happy with apples podcast app so it’s not needed in another audiobook app that may be better than audible. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Yeah, get a library card and get into Libby.
Or there are sites where there is a less than legal way to get them

I have my subscription for 1 credit per month on Audible, but will mostly use Libby. I go through a good bit of audiobooks, and I only use my monthly credit for books that have ridiculous wait times in Libby. That doesn't happen often, though, and I'm usually able to hoard those credits. Libby is real nice.

I make sure to use my 15 hours on Spotify every month, but Libby is still my primary audiobook app. I don't have an audible subscription, but hit up their sales when I see them

YouTube has many audiobooks in full. Having a premium subscription helps having no ads but it’s not great for saving your place when you cant read the whole book in one sitting. For short stories it’s not bad.
Recently Ive noticed books on YouTube are being read by AI and it’s pretty good but occasionally the AI is obvious. Not often enough to be a deal breaker anymore.

I have Libby with two different library systems. Hoopla. And one free Audible book (loan) a month with Amazon Music Premium. I save that for stuff I can’t find via libraries (or if it’s only on Libby w really long wait).
I haven’t paid for Audible or other services in years.

Audible sub + Libby is what I use... occasionally supplement it with sales on Audible..
