Transgender Delta pilot cheers Charlie Kirk's death

It's disgusting in so many ways. Being trans is a mental illness and the FAA needs to ground them immediately. Delta used to have higher standards before the woke management came over from Northworst Airlines. Never sit down before taking a loom in the flight deck. If I saw this thing seated at the controls, I'd be requesting another flight.

Milo has been pointing out that this is a massive threat. Apparently, there are quite a few of these freak pilots, and everyone knows how suicidal these people are.

Don’t you think there’s a double standard of all these people getting called out but the same people calling them out for saying their piece of mind (no matter how idiotic it may be) praise Kirk for speaking his mind?

Too stupid to warrant a response

In no way is it comparable. Charlie was self-employed. And it was his business model to speak his mind. And Charlie never danced on anyone's grave or advocated it. There is nothing in the job description of a pilot, teacher, etc to make disgusting statements and rejoice in someone's death. These people are now going after Charlie's wife and saying she needs to be next. These people are mentally unstable and I don't want them flying planes, teaching classes, practicing medicine, etc.

No. CK debated and had an open mic policy so there could be total conversation on just about anything.
Yes of course his opinions were voiced. If people had a different opinion they talked about it. These people celebrating his assassination are personally attacking his character and stance.

In this post you equated celebrating someone’s murder with a debate on political positions.
Do you see those as equal?

Nope, not at all.
There a teachers, healthcare workers, secret service agents, pilots, etc. who are actively celebrating the death of a young father because he had different political beliefs. These are people who are responsible for others’ safety. How can you trust that they would sufficiently care for you if they were to find out that you weren’t far enough to the left for their liking? These people are disgusting and pose a danger to society.
To compare them to what CK did is laughable

Dang. I just flew Delta to Greece. I hope that thing wasn’t the pilot. That is madness letting a mentally ill freak pilot a plane full of people.

I’m not comparing them to CK,
I’m comparing the people bitching about what they are saying and calling for their jobs while praising CK speech that attracted those people, I think that is hypocritical

You’re too dumb to accurately describe what you’re doing. Is that genetics? Is your mom dumb?

Interesting question. The whole point about cancel culture is not the mechanism itself - we’ve always had cancel culture, as a reading of The Scarlet Letter or about the death of Socrates will show. What made the recent version of cancel culture virulent was what they defined as outside the pale. Suddenly it was unforgivable to express views that did not align with those of the Democrat Party.
So let’s test your question. Was Charlie Kirk criticized for expressing views that were outside the pale? No. His views were well within the mainstream of half the American people. Now let’s look at those we are criticizing. Is their praise for political murder outside the pale? That’s not a rhetorical question, Pickwick; I’m asking you.

Delta will be getting a email.
Trans shouldn’t be allowed to be pilots.

Good post. Obviously I disagree with your assesment of CK not being criticized for some of his views. I don’t think that is even debatable.
I also believe these people “celebrating” his death are in the minority,
I just personally think it is a double standard to defend CK for his speech and opinions at the same time calling out others for their opinions. That is all.
