Been in both, and it ain’t close.
Did Bear ever call Neyland as loud as “being inside a base drum”?

Didn’t they do a decibel reading and Tenner was in fact louder? Believe I read that a couple years back
ETA: according to garbage Yahoo it’s True

I remember people saying neyland was the hardest place to play, but it was back when Tennessee was relevant.

If you’re comparing against last Saturday, most of America was louder. I hope tomorrow is loud and if it’s not in the second half it’s because of a large lead.

He's talking about after halftime.

“Louder”? Who gets to decide? It’s an opinion, not a fact. How are you measuring it? During what games and when? Sustained duration or just a moment? This is a dumb argument that has no basis in fact, and can’t be proven.

At times Neyland had twenty thousand more seats. Only been there the last time the Tigers traveled there. My limited experience says Tiger stadium but I’m willing to acknowledge that it was probably a lot louder the last time they beat BAMA there.
My point is the atmosphere in Tiger stadium is sporadic in recent years with the higher ticket prices, and I hope to help give the Gators tinnitus in my beloved Death Valley tomorrow night.
I smile thinking about an interview with Marcus Allen when asked if he had ever been intimidated by a stadium. “Only once, in 79 at LSU”. That was my freshman year when I changed from a fan to a fanatic.

Honestly wouldn't surprise me.
The fanbase only shows up to make Death Valley itself for 1-2 games a year. Rest of the time folks are out at half

Finebaum? Who gives a frick?

Honestly wouldn’t surprise me either, that fan base is hungry they haven’t won anything this decade and are finally relevant again. Combine that with opportunities to end long losing streaks against rivals and you get loud crowds.

Sure. Tenn vs Bama probably is louder than LSU vs La tech.

Just watch the games and ignore all the nonsense.

Trolling but tiger stadium isnt the week in week out venue it used to be. That comes with success granted but it takes big opponents to wake it up. In the past went bowl games were a great season every game was big if you get what im saying

The swamp was the only other stadium that could compare to Tiger Stadium in loudness.
