Sounds like projection from King. I grew up supporting his work—reading his books and watching his movies. One only need to take a glimpse into his personal psyche to understand King is and always will be a tormented individual. His auto accident and drug addiction kicked it into high gear.

A buddy at work sat down in my office earlier and told me he had a heated argument with another liberal coworker over text message. About 3 hours back and forth last night. The lib kept calling Kirk evil, nazi, fascist, racist, etc. My buddy sent reponses back to the lib contradicting his thinking the whole time. Videos of Kirk being welcoming and loving. The liberal friend admitted this morning he refuses to watch the videos.
That is the problem. A lot of the opinions from followers on the left only search out and read hit pieces. They don't actually try to find the truth. Just online material that validates their feelings or opinions.
I'm sure Stephen King never actually watched a video where Kirk advocated stoning gays, he was just told that by a friend or read it on a hit piece and believed it to be true, because he wanted it to be true.
