100%. They have guys that know the trash collection days and drive around the night before picking up anything metal. But even if you leave it out days before pickup, someone will grab it.

I lived in Mid City for a while. In a pass through area with foot traffic. Came home from work to find my grill was stole off my front porch. What really upset me was that is was really new and the cast iron cook grates were laying in the driveway.

I was hoping they at least stole it to use...
