Or the defense should at least make them look good In practice.

Hell, just looking for answers at this point

That’s not how game prep works. In football you play a scout team. Basically second team running opponents plays. On offense and defense.

Simply rubbing two equally hard or smooth pieces of iron together would be inefficient and would likely wear down both pieces without effective sharpening.

Gotta be something that gives away running plays or offense is just so predictable based on down and distance, I know the Red Zone offense seems stalled due to lack of run game

The offense looks sharp, but it’s hard to judge when the defense is giving them so much space. You’d think iron sharpens iron, but right now it feels like iron against butter.

We'll begin to see if the offense is a viable contender this weekend.

I am not even sure what you are referring to. The Offense and Defense will very rarely go 1 v 1s now that were into the season. Most the time its going to be the scout team defense vs the First team offense and the First Team defense vs the scout team offense.

Now Kelly might determine he wants to test the guys a little in a certain period where he elects to go 1 vs 1's but that is not going to be rare. You are trying to gameplan for the upcoming game by getting the looks you expect the opposing team to do against you while maintaining the health of your players. Going First Team vs First Team is not going to do that.

I don't know about that, but what is concerning to me is a team like La Tech being more physical than LSU. Not being able to run when you need to is not championship football. Those dudes on the right side of the line were getting manhandled vs. La Tech. Especially Weston Davis. Florida's defensive line is better than La Techs'
