Very good video on Pickett’s week 2 performance. Was another week where the opposition simply didn’t really go his way. Showcased strong coverage, good versatility and discipline in zone. With how much Florida likes to push the ball downfield we should finally see Pickett get challenged more consistently this week but it’s kinda crazy a freshmen cb already has a fear factor to throwing his direction we have a good one.

And with Delane on the other side he will get challenged. Good luck throwing against those 2. And the front 7…yeah this defense is elite.

I really don’t see Florida’s receivers being able to beat us 1 on 1 against Delane/Pickett/Woodland. If we contain Lagway and don’t allow broken plays, the defense will have a great day

Agreed I trust the cb trio of Delane/pickett/woodland to keep the Florida wideouts in check . As long we stuff the run and force Florida into a drop back passing game and allow baker to design to his pressure packages we should feast

He looks a bit soft on the tackling skills. There was a screen where he tried to tackle the side of the guy and on the corner blitz, he didn’t seem to have the heart to lower the boom on the QB.

I don’t think it’s that, he’s been bigger and stronger than everyone he has played against his entire life until now. He’s a true freshman playing in his second ever game, so there's gonna be a learning curve on some things but he has been great so far.

Don’t think that’s fair this is still a true freshmen transitioning from HS to college. If you watched his HS film he will come up and smack you but he’s no longer facing kids he’s facing mature men now the physicality was always going to take time esp since Pickett came to campus at jus 174 pds. He’s bulked up to 195 but it’s still gonna take time. Def don’t think that kid lacks heart
