I am one of the biggest supporters of this guy but I have seen no improvement over these last few years. Although he’s a hell of recruiter, these guys aren’t progressing. It seems like they just can’t block or being taught bad techniques. This has been 3-4 years. Outside of elite talents like Campbell and Jones these guys have played poorly. In your opinion do you feel like it’s coaching or bad talent assessment? Do you feel like his job may be in question?

His offensive lines are consistently bad

So OL was great last week against an elite DL at Clemson, but now we struggle after our starting center goes down and now Davis sucks again?

The OLine from a run blocking standpoint was not great last week. Durham made a couple of amazing plays masking a mediocre performance

Yes, it’s absolutely time to question what the frick he’s teaching them. And it’s time to question him on why they consistently get pushed around physically. You mean to tell me an LSU o-line couldn’t get enough push against a much lesser opponent, which is also smaller than them? That’s bullshite and it’s gotta end.

So can I ask you why you are one of his biggest supporters?

Davis needs to go at the end of the season. He just takes up space. Who cares how good of a recruiter he is if he can’t coach the damn talent up hit the road jack.

Run blocking grades from the Clemson game:

Moore: 67.8
Adams: 60.4
Thompson: 53.1
Chester: 59.8
Davis 48.1
Mubenga 46.0

Clemson ranked 60th nationally in run defense last year.

There’s a reason he jumped school to school before this. He’s awful at coaching

Will we see Thomas and Curne this week? Are they worse at this point in their development than what we have seen thus far?

I support him because he has everything you want in a coach but this is job that demands results.

They are not physically strong nor agile.

Kids like him. I have seen zero evidence at this point he knows, frankly, anything at all about coaching.

He recruits at an elite level. Wouldn’t the strength and conditioning coach be responsible for that aspect?

Nah. The O line definitely didn't perform as they did against Clemson.
But let's wait and see....

It sure as hell should. The run game has not been good at all since he's been here. All that rushing we had with JD was because of JD, otherwise the OL gets zero push against smaller defensive lines leaving our running backs with nowhere to go. If this OL has no sense of improvement over the course of the year he should be canned. Great recruiter, not very much of a coach.

It should be. His offensive lines have never been able to run block for the RBs
