With all the spitting going on

Let’s revisit Roberto Alomar. I know spitting on someone is lower than low, but did Alomar’s legacy take too big a hit?

In my mind he’s the greatest all around 2nd baseman ever. If you’ve watched a lot of baseball over the last 40+ years like myself, surely we can see that there is something in my mind worse than spitting on someone; baseball umpires.

They are the worst of the worst. No one in the world is worse at their jobs and they are arrogant and want to inject themselves into the game when no one paid to come see them,

Roberto Alomar did not spit on another player. No, he spit on sorry arse John Hirschbeck.

In my mind, he should be looked back on fondly.
