What’s your assessment here Lester? Seems like a good player but I don’t know what position he plays at LSU.

ETA: Maybe he just chews up ground and has more speed than what I think.

There's like 5 schools that I think LSU should offer if the kids are borderline -
Destrehan, Edna Karr, St Aug, Northshore (Houston) and John Curtis

He looked slow before that sweet move at the 50. Then he turnt up.

Yeah I thought his game speed & acceleration was hard to gauge in clips last year. He has an interesting gait(short torso/long legs & lacks a bit of ankle flexibility potentially) but watching him here he is definitely a long strider that chews up yards. He has some very solid verified track times timed to back it up.

I think for a HS WR, he’s a really good route runner, and he’s gifted with great coordination & ball tracking that will really play. I don’t know if he’s a can’t miss type prospect but he has a lot of strong traits.

I thought he'd have more top end speed. He quick but doesn't look fast... Kinda Jarvis Landryish

I would have to go dig up the name but NC State had a guy a while back who may be the best comp. He was a WR but had more of a RB build. They used him in kind of a receiver/h back hybrid role but he was always open.

Jaylen Samuels is the NC State player I was thinking of. Played WR, RB, TE, and H Back.

202 career receptions and 19 TDs
1100 career rushing yards and 28 more TDs

Looks like he has some crazy burst or closing speed but not really the long speed.
