What’s the scoop on him? I can’t find any information on his football status—only track.

What's your question exactly? We have a ton of more polished receivers in front of him.

He was on the sideline of the Clemson game.

He's still listed on the football roster. Hopefully we get to see him play a fair amount on Saturday. Sounded like he had a solid camp. Obviously, he can fly.

I would assume he is 8th on the depth chart. He should play in 2nd half this weekend vs Tech

Not everyone can play. Only so many snaps a game.

Oh,…..you want him on the field. Because he’s fast. And, obviously the coaches just don’t get it. At this rate we’ll loose him to track. Right?

I dont, I hope to see Parker, Brown, Anderson, Green all get at least 4-5 catches. After that Hilton, Watkins is not on my list of hoping to see. I want to see Nuss go about 25 for 30 and about 350 with four TDs. There just arent enough catches there for everyone.

No Mister Smartass.

It’s called asking a question. Not everyone has time to absorb the wisdom that you possess.

You answered my question for not knowing what I’m asking.

Thanks for the informative answer. I see that TD has garnered a vast collection of smartass members that love to be condescending to someone who is genuinely asking a question. I’m very uninformed when it comes to our recruiting and depth.

Had a good track season and yes hes on the team. He had a good camp but hes behind a lot of good receivers right now. He will play some this weekend most likely and will compete for a spot next year. The Coaches really like his talent but we brought in a bunch of good receivers so hes just behind a bunch of good players.

Thanks for the information. Before the opener, I was reading about Brown’s speed: clocked faster (mph) than anyone in the NFL during the 2023 season. Watkins was mentioned in passing, and I couldn’t find any information on him—specifically, whether or not he was injured (or if he was even playing this year).

Thanks, man. Do you happen to know the RB depth chart too? I didn’t get to see many games last year because of long working hours. More time on my hands this year, so I’m trying to catch up. A link, perhaps?

I'm meaning that hopefully we're up so big Saturday that we can unleash the deepest parts of the roster in the 2nd half lol

He is Chris Hilton without the experience (primarily just a deep threat)

I doubt he factors in this year. The WR room is just too deep

Who would he take snaps from?
- Aaron Anderson, obviously not
- Chris Hilton, nope, same player ton more experience
- Zavion Thomas, no; similar players but Zavion way more wiggle/versatility with way more experience
- Barion Brown, no; again huge experience edge to Brown and Brown more versatile
- Nic Anderson, no; very different player as Anderson fills tall/big WR role
- Kyle Parker, again probably not; Parker seems to be able to do a bit more and is ahead of Watkins

So that's 6 guys without a doubt in front of him. Going to take some serious injuries to those before he sees any real playing time outside of blowouts
