Audiosource AMP Repair NOLA

I have 2 Audiosource amps for my whole house audio. Both are giving me trouble. Did some troubleshooting tonight. Most of the zones aren’t working. Worth repairing? (I see these retail for $1k each). I installed them around 2017/2018. Anyone in the NOLA area who does this type of work? Just better off replacing it?

If they’re actually bad I would trash them. Still, all these multiple failures? Maybe a rat got your wires or something.

Yup, they both appear to be bad. I just hooked up a cheap Rockville that I had on hand and the 3 zones that I tested are fine but dead on the others. Maybe I took a surge at some point.
Part of a bigger project. Getting rid of existing Control4 system with audio matrix. I have 2 WiiM Pro units. Gonna at least test drive this set up with the Rockville in place. I’m not an audiophile so the Rockville should work fine unless it doesn’t interact well with the WiiMs. Hopefully I can turn the knobs up to file volume and let the WiiM app handle that from there.

Westbank Audio Services in Gretna. I forget the guy's name. He is super nice but super slow. He will tell you before even starting if he thinks you're wasting your money fixing them.

You don't say if your troubleshooting localized the faults to the amps or the wiring. Be sure to do that. I took a quick look online at specs for a couple of Audiosource multi-zone amps and learned two things. First, the zones have mixed impedances. Second, it says there are multiple safety circuits. Maybe an impedance mismatch triggered a zone shutoff. Resetting might be possible.

Try Digital Rehab in Slidell. Used to be Wilson Audio. Been around for a long time. Fixed my vintage technics amp in 2 days. Does have a 6 week wait but you can pay a $80 expedite fee.
