Anyone go to the show last night? I had to miss it and was pretty bummed about it.

Be a lot cooler if it were Rob Dickinson.

Was there...good set - about 15-16 songs. Said it was his first time back in New Orleans since 1984. Did one Maiden song - "Flash of the Blade" off of Powerslave.

Small crowd and Bruce bitched about the A.C. being too cold. Even had a roadie climb the speakers to cover a vent.

Everyone was like brother it's better than the alternative. Good show though.

Abduction
Laughing in the Hiding Bush
Shadow of the Gods
Chemical Wedding
Flash of the Blade (Iron Maiden song)
Resurrection Men
Rain on the Graves
Drum Solo
Frankenstein (The Edgar Winter Group cover)
The Alchemist
Book of Thel
Road to Hell
Tears of the Dragon
Gods of War
The Tower

Pretty solid. How as Chemical Wedding? Tears of the Dragon?

Doesn't look like anything off of Skunkworks? Kind of a bummer, since that is my favorite album.

Small crowds and NOLA go hand in hand. And some wonder why we don't get more shows.

I've been to several sold out shows at the Fillmore this year.

The Fillmore in New Orleans is such a blah venue and nothing like the original venues in San Francisco or New York. HOB is more intimate and a better venue to see nationals albeit a much smaller venue.

Not surprising that ticket sales for his solo tour have been strong in Europe and okay in the states.

Tuesday nights are tough for middle aged guys as well. The older I get it has to be something I really want to see on a school night. Most of the time at shows during the week I'm thinking I could be sleeping right now.

We were on the balcony and a chick with a guy in our group pointed out the demographics of the crowd below - 95 percent 45 + year old bald white guys.

He’s definitely been there after 1984, because I saw Maiden at UNO on the Seventh Son tour
