Is the #1 player in the class gonna redshirt?

He looked great in practice though. Franchise player. LSU will never survive losing him

He's "hurt" (think was in a boot all week), we'll see how bad because they play GA Southern this week which isnt a complete cupcake like Missouri St was.

Probably wouldn’t have participated here either. We stacked

Imagine choosing to play at USC and not with Baker/this LSU defense.

Some folks are just in it for the $ (right now, not even thinking of future). USC outbid us pretty significantly for Stewart. Think it was we got up to $1-$1.25M range and USC was about double that nearly.
In the end I think thats insane money either way for a kid who spent 1 year playing high school football and reclassed to get to college a year earlier pretty clearly to just start getting paid a year earlier.
USC also had Eric Henderson as DLine coach so outside the money part that's going to be a clear attraction for a NOLA area kid having a former NOLA area player as coach who was a NFL DLine coach and now at USC is the same PLUS co-defensive coordinator.

Case of Rodeo Drive clap

That’s an expensive no-play.
I hope he sacks Underwood, though.

If USC offered him money like that, you cant blame the kid. Especially as a freshman. He can easily leave to play wherever he wants next year WITH life changing money already sitting in the bank.

He prefers to be in a jumpsuit

I didn't even realize USC played.

He’s hurt. Little early to be calling him a flop
