would trade their teams Head Coach for Ryan Day in a New York minute

Seems kind of silly..
I'm glad BK finally won a big game opener, but I would trade BK for Ryan Day in a heartbeat.
How many teams wouldn't trade their HC for Ryan Day ?
I can't think of any, maybe Georgia, but that's it.

I think it’s mostly because he colors his beard. What kind of vain, goofball does that?

But hey, that's what the expanded playoffs are for. So teams like Ohio State that put up big tv ratings can get a third or fourth chance to put it together and get hot at the right time.

Case in point from my last post. People post stuff like this or "They lost to Michigan", low IQ stuff.

Instead, the best team won, the most talented won, and fluke losses wont stop that now. You need to have a solid season, lose 2 times at most and perfect the skillset and peak in December/January. It all makes sense.

I hate Ryan Day, and wouldn’t trade a week-old dogshit for him.

If the 4-team CFP had been in effect last year then Ohio State would have been left out

This is the worst narrative that has been pushed for far too long.

OSU is the #4 seed in a 4 team playoff behind Oregon, UGA and ND.

From 2014-2023, big wins meant more than big losses. OSU had wins over Indiana and @PSU, two teams who made the playoffs. Texas and PSU had zero wins over anyone in the top 25 at year end combined. You can't put PSU in over them as they beat them @PSU. Texas didn't beat anyone

If you declare the team that wins the title the best team then that happens every year

That in no way is guaranteed to be true.

The structure of the playoffs hurt the top 4 seeds. They had a significant layoff in comparison to the other playoff teams which greatly helped teams that made the finals.

There is a reason not a single top 4 seems made it to the semifinals. UGA and Oregon got massively screwed.

Tennessee was a joke team as well.

Was tOSU one of the best teams? Of course, they were not the best because they won the title. Just like ND wasn’t necessarily the second best team and really were not the second best or likely even 4th best team.
