Moore at Center. Those misdirection runs for 10+ yards he was in great position. Huge upgrade at C this year

Guillory. Gooden & McKinley played great too but I’m happy for Guillory. All 3 builled their IOL and made stops.

Pyburn. He set the edge multiple times. One play in particular, he set the edge and took on the blocker which allowed Whit to have a TFL.

There’s so many guys who played well

For all the shite I’ve given Gilbert, I thought he played well for haulcy in the first half

I’ll go ahead and say it. Bauer Sharp. Even though he had that fumble, his motion on the line made a big difference in keeping Nuss safe, and a key part of the o-line success.

Maybe add Alex Atkins (coach) to the list…

Gilbert did well except for one play he over pursued Klubnik on their TD drive.

But yeah he was playing well besides that

Pyburn was a steal. I was impressed with his physicality last night. He backed up everything he said in camp. He said LSU would be much more physical and people would be surprised. He certainly was. I even saw him destroy 2 blockers that allowed his teammate to sack Klubnik. Classic example of unselfish player who without him, LSU doesn't see that kind of dominance last night. He set the tone for all the players and let others shine but without him, it couldn't happen. Perfect teammate.

The funny thing is that if Clemson made one more play and scored a touchdown and then successfully went for two at the end, this entire board would be in meltdown mode, shitting all over our players, and talking about how bad everyone played.

10 seconds could have completely changed everyone’s perception of the game 180 degrees. It just goes to show you that your performance was never as good or as bad as the general public says it was. The truth always lies somewhere in between.

Probably need to add Payton to this list. He graded out as like the 4th best on the roster

Dude, o line period. They weren’t stellar, but they held their own against a veteran, highly ranked bunch on the road. We ran it just enough. Also allowed only 1 sack.

People would be far more critical of the O if that happened. Even if Clemson did score another TD, i don't think anymore would be blaming the defense for the loss.

Although it was only one play, Kyle Parker big 3rd down catch in the red zone that led to Durham touchdown.

The rotation on DL. It doesn't matter if it was Payton, Pyburn, Gooden, Guillory, Butler, they all made plays. It's going to be bigger as the season goes on.

I agree about the truth lying somewhere in between…however not the story line if they did score and go for 2 and win. Storyline line would most definitely be solely focused on the shitty overturned TD call and Kelly not kicking a FG before half.

Agreed + Payton and your assessment spot on

ETA Sharp was extremely solid last night as well. Not his best game, but competed hard the whole game
