This really bothers me because it feels performative like it feels like it’s for the media and the fanbase not actually for the players. I mean there is no way he actually thinks his players are actually getting motivated by that silly shite.

Like they weren’t motivated enough. “I did all this stuff to get them up for the game but they just didn’t get up enough.”

It really bothers me because it shows he’s about covering his own arse and not actually about winning the game.
