I found a great deal of a set of i230s for $799, and scooped them up (I think they were on sale since it was a lefty set). It was a 4-UW set, 8 clubs for that price is a steal.

This is my first set of nice irons, my previous clubs were no name brand clubs I’ve had since college when my dad bought them for me lol.

Anyone here play with them? If so how do you like them. FYI im definitely a high handicapper, so it’ll be interesting to see if they really help my game.

Nah, but if you’d have a set of BeCu Ping Eye II “Red Dots” in like new condition, I’d probably buy them…

Been gaming them since they were released. Love them. It’s such a clean looking iron. I thought about moving into the i240 but I got not real advantage on the switch and I just didn’t care for the look of the 240 over the 230.

I originally start with DG 120 stiffs and reshafted modus 130 Xs they’ve been money

That’s awesome. I’m glad to hear you love them. I love the look of them too, it’s so clean. The shaft is the DG 105 s300.

I can’t wait to play a round, I’m already trying to convince my wife to let me play this weekend.

These irons will definitely convince you to try other ping products. I ended up with the wedges and the idi driving iron. Wasn’t a huge fan of the woods and hybrids but it’ll be hard for those irons to ever leave my bag.

Yes. Great sticks. I have a set with Dynamic golds and another with alta shafts. I just switched to the Altas full time now. They are hot on the sweet spot although I live way off the toe.

I’ve had a ping 56 degree that I bought last year that I really love, so if the rest of the irons play like that wedge I’ll be happy.

Yeah I’ve got to upgrade my woods next, still have the no name brand ones from college. One thing at a time.

These are by far the best Ping irons I have ever hit and the first set I ever hit that I felt had soul. I may play with newer sets now, but often run back home to these. I wish I had the U-wedge.

Put the W at 50 and the S at 55 back in the bag, hitting Blueprint S and love them, i230’s new for $799 was a great deal!

Did you get the 2025's or the previous 2023 model? I got the 2023's (5-GW) a few months back. Definitely not super forgiving, but I knew that going in and it really hasn't hurt me too much yet in the couple times I've played. Only club I have a real issue with is my 5 iron right now. Giving it a few more months before I try out a new t250 for the 5 iron only.

Great clubs if you're looking for forgiveness. Decent length but not the longest. But just as an example I hit my 8i 150 off the toe.
