Clemson Crowd

For those who have been to a Clemson game how does the crowd and noise compare to LSU for big games.
Genuinely curious and would have loved to see for myself this weekend but I need to be at an event for my daughter.

Death Valley Junior-all I got

You know the answer.
How many times have we seen Tiger stadium cranked to the max in a night game only for bama to walk in and totally be un phased. My point is that the loud stadium only gets you so far. The team still has to show up.

Not like Tiger Stadium but it gets very loud. The Clemson folks have a dedicated fan base and will be live for the entire 4 quarter barring a blowout. It is definitely a tougher place to play and I have attended games there throughout my lifetime.

Hester and Flynn brought up a good point. That stadium will probably be the loudest ever. With the hype all offseason over Death Valley jr, mascots, payback from 2019, and the fact that it’s the first game of the season. Hope the boys are ready. I believe if they beat Clemson, they will be a deep playoff contender. And if they dominate Clemson, this could end up being another special season.

It’ll be rocking - no doubt

Except for the younger guys, I’m not worried about it. Playing in the SEC, you’re accustomed to be playing in tough environments.

I would probably compare it to South Carolina last year. We got off to just about as bad of a start as you possibly could and were still unfazed.

Clemson fans have the arrogance of Bama fans, the pretentiousness of Ole Miss fans, and the trashiness of the worst Florida fans.
Their stadium is loud, but they do pump artificial noise in - supposedly only when plays aren't being run - but every fanbase complains about it there. Their band also likes to hold notes as long as possible, even when the center is over the ball.
Their DJ sucks and their concessions are terrible, so our fans should feel right at home on that front.

idk about the stadium but every single clemson fan I ran into at the natty was pretty classy.
I wanna beat the shite out of their team on the field but I actually like their fanbase generally.

West Virginia is more impressive than Clemson from a crowd atmosphere standpoint. Clemson will be on fire for sure to start the game. But having a 5th year senior at QB helps tremendously in these situations.
I was there for a non conference game in '13 and it wasn't that impressive but the hype surrounding this game they are going to have their hair on fire.
