Never played as a kid, had Fusion.
What an incredible experience. Ordered Dread to play next and have Prime Remaster as well.

Dread is great, was nice to play a metroid game with some real challenge to it. The robot sections and several of the boss battles actually ask something of the player.

Most of Zero Mission is great, as it fixes a number of the annoying parts of the original Metroid through a mapping system and Super Metroid style controls.
The post-mission in the Zebean pirate ship is still arse, though.

Really wish they’d put zero mission, Samus returns, and prime 2/3 on the switch eshop.
