Just wondering, I'm new here and I'm a big fan so I just wanted to know.

I'll keep up with WWE but I only watch the PPVs (or "Premium Live Events" as they're called now).
I'm not a virgin loser so I don't pay attention to AEW.

The best rasslin is from the 1980s especially in the LA territory of Mid South booked by Bill Watts. It WAS still real to a lot of fans.

I started watching it again after Wrestlemania 40

WWE has a new deal with ESPN+ starting next year so every PPV will be on there for no extra cost.
Used to you only had to pay $10 a month (WWE Network) to get all PPVs (even WrestleMania).
If I ran WWE I'd still have Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, and Summerslam on traditional PPV and charge $50 a pop.

There's usually threads for RAW and Dynamite on the OT Lounge if you wanna pop in. Dynamite should be good tonight, and it's a go-home show for their Forbidden Door PPV, which is ran in conjunction with NJPW so you'll see many of their wrestlers too.
Which promotion(s) do or did you watch in particular, or what kind of style suits you best? There's never been a better time to be a wrestling fan in that countless styles and promotions are available to watch.
Apart from the new stuff, I'm making it through rewatching old WWF, WCW, NJPW and AJPW (will add ECW when I get to it chronologically) stuff as there's just so much available. I'm discovering Riki Choshu about 40 years too late

I wish more people were familiar with his stuff before he went to the WWF. Him turning heel on JYD was COLD.

quote:First time I ever saw him was in Lakefront Arena in 2018 for the ROH Supercard that was a couple nights before WM34. "Punishment Martinez" ran and did a front flip OVER the turnbuckle onto Ishii on the outside floor. Knew right then he was legit and could be a huge star - he also had like two feet of height on Ishii

quote:I was watching on the WWE Network until they sold to Peacock which tripped me up for a bit. But all of the old stuff (edited, mind you) is still platformed on Peacock. Now I have no clue where everything's gonna end up with the Peacock deal dying for ESPN - but VPNs and Youtube are your friends.
