H1-B War silently being escalated

Since our Gov wont do anything about it, some folks have taken the issue into their own hands and have started a website that consolidates job positing's from the ether, to skirt the LMT threshold. Now US Citizens are now finally fighting back.

War against Green card or PERM; not H1B. There are very little restrictions or protections for H1B Visas. 100s of qualified Americans can apply for a job; if the company wants an H1B for that role, they'll probably get it.
That has to change IMO - probably in the form of a salary floor in the neighborhood of $165,000 - indexed to inflation. At that point companies will have almost have no incentive to use H1B labor instead of developing local talent. They'd rely on the H1B only when the role requires a highly unique skill that they probably can't easily find in the US.

You’d think they would be thrilled to go home and use their superior skills and intellect to create/build up/maintain Indian society into the envy of the world.
Stop having these H1B leeches that could care less about the general welfare of homegrown Americans continue to take advantage of our infrastructure and economic systems

The fact that we even allow companies to sponsor foreigners says it all.
H1-B wages should be taxed at 100% for companies (that way they're paying more than they would by hiring a US Citizen). H1-B recipients should also pay much higher taxes than the rest of us. This is the only way to keep the system honest. If the person a company wants to bring from India is truly "special", then put your money where your mouth is and pay for him.
Otherwise hire American!

False. They're doing jobs that companies try to hide and discourage Americans from applying to. Companies want immigrants that will accept lower wages.

Doing it the right way
The right way would be to hire, train, and invest in your own existing community.

bullshite! We are bringing in cheap labor from India and China. If they had ingenuity, then they wouldn't be leaving their country.
All we are doing is kicking out Americans from middle class, white collar jobs and giving them to Chinese and Indians. And to make matters worse, once one of those Chinese or Indians gets into HR, they end up using racist hiring practices to hire their own kind. No whites, blacks, Hispanics allowed anymore.

I feel like someone needs to make an app that allows Americans to easily find and apply for these jobs

They'd fit right in. All they can do effectively is hack.
