For posting a thread praising the best pitcher in baseball striking out a former MVP on three pitches swinging in a game his team won 1-0 in extras? Is creating a thread speaking positively about a player opposing the Astros against TOS? If it is, I will refrain.

So are we not allowed to make fun of the Astros, a team we hate, while everyone is allowed to trash the Yankees, a team they hate? If we’re going to enforce rules arbitrarily, just say so, and we can move on. Also, I am not Jerry, and I am sure, as a mod, you would know if I was an alt. Just trying to understand here.

Pretty sure it was more that he started an entirely new thread about it when the daily thread already existed.
So, instead of putting his thoughts in there where only a few people would see it, he chose to create a new flame specifically to flame Astros fans because he knew it would get more visibility. Now, I'm no Astros fan (go Braves), but certainly you could see how that may be against the board rules...right?

But the mods continue to anchor Yankee threads that were made for a full series. Where's the violation of TOS? Just be an Astros fan, run and tattle to the mods, and get someone banned at will. My thread was anchored, and title was just "Yankees at Rays". Again, arbitrary enforcement of the rules. Notice I am getting no responses from the mods. I wonder why.....

There was no game day thread yesterday, except for the one I made. We did series threads so we would not need to do daily threads, but the mods would power trip and anchor our threads.Jerry got temp banned a few weeks ago.

Avery, first of all, you need approval to do a daily thread… And if you do a daily thread, it has to follow a certain structure with the thread title.

Thank you for explanation, but can we get approval? Yankees are not popular so I’ll probably get denied, so how can we talk about Judge/Yankees?
