I am not. Eat meat more than vegetarians or vegans would like.
But, I can understand why. There have been arguments that you can get all amino acids from plants. It's contested evidence but it is out here.
As far as the philosophical perspective, I don't agree with it but I respect it. I think any animal would kill you at the drop of a dime if it meant they were going to get fed. But we are equipped with more processing power and empathy. If someone doesn't feel good about killing an animal, more power to them.
We killed a cow once that we had fed, and it felt bad. I didn't name the cow, but I was responsible for it, and I'll tell you I had a hard time eating the cow. I also had to put a calf down when the mother wasn't making milk and it wouldn't take to a bottle and it was about to die.
It's rough stuff. After actually dealing with animals in that way, I don't fault anyone for philosophically being vegetarian.

Doubtful, if there were vegans here they would have let us know already.

If the more sports board is any indicator, Mingo is kind of a leftist prick in denial
You probably directly attacked him just asking

No you're not.
You're asking this on a predominantly conservative message board full of meat eaters.
If you were curious you would google it.
You want people to say yes and then have a mob behind you.

My mom grew up on a farm in WVA . Her job as a little kid was to kill chickens.
She refused to eat chicken the rest of her life. She would cook it occasionally but not eat it.
