Maybe the Browns would come off of Joe Flacco for cheap.

Why give up future assets for a short term rental so you can slightly improve 1 position on a team that needs improvement across the board?

He’s 40+ years old. He would die behind our OL.

for God's sakes... the only way we're trying to win this year is with either one of the QBs on the roster.

If either pan out, then you build around them. If both flame out, then you assume you'll be high enough in the draft to take a swing at another QB in the next draft.

Rinse and repeat until you either finally draft a stud, or you stumble onto a future hall of famer coming off a potentially career-ending injury

Why?

Either what we have is unexpectedly awesome or we bottom out

Either one is good

No need to win 7 games

And take a chance of winning 2 or 3 games? We have to be the front runner for the first pick of next years draft

But why? How much difference is Joe Flacco going to make? Yeah, hes probably better than Rattler/Shough but this team is going nowhere with any of them playing QB. I'd rather suck with the young guys and get the better draft pick for our efforts.

Did you not read the OP????? He could be the Mr Miyagi to our wayward young QBs. Thought it was pretty well explained TBF.
