Lots of options for St Aug, but anywhere in Baton Rouge/New Orleans area sells centipede by piece? Most of my back yard is centipede & I have a few bare spots I want to repair without having to wait for seed to sprout.

I would make plugs. They are easier and faster than seed. The roots are deeper than sod so they are usually hardier. This proplugger is the best tool for it.

Try Woerner Turf. There is one on Airline in BR. Not sure about NO but I’m sure you can call.

Check with Simpson Sod in Covington or Sunny Sod in Slidell.

Been awhile since I needed some, but Jefferson Feed on the corner of Jefferson & Central in Metairie at one point seemed to always have a few pallets

Woerner

Would also check with La Nursury and sometimes even Home Depot carries a pallet on the weekend.

Centepide grows too damn slow to do anything this year.
