We do a snake, but our draft order isn’t random, we have a competition before the draft to determine draft order. I would prefer an auction, but I don’t mind our way either. It’s better than random.
ETA: we do a live draft with no computers or phones allowed. So you have to do your research, can’t just auto pick the highest rated player in the computer queue. And we also play with scoring settings that aren’t easy to find rankings for, Superflex PPR TE Premium

I'm traditional when it comes to fantasy. I want it to be set up as close as possible to real football. I prefer a draft with defenses and kickers. I do prefer FAAB for waivers though.

IMO, fantasy football is already random enough, the last thing I need is to lose a game because my kicker scored 7 points and my opponent’s scored 10, or because a random defense had a defensive TD
