Have been driving by this place for months. Airline near plank. Finally stopped in today.
Had curry goat plate with rice and steamed veggies. Everything was very good, very fresh.
Service a little slow and prices high, but that’s pretty much everywhere you go these days.
Check it out if in the area. Definitely a change of pace.

It’s very good. Sadly I don’t think the area it’s located in will support it.

What do you mean by high? How many places in that town serve legit Jamaican goat curry?

Seems like if it’s a good product they are able to charge what they want for it.

I saw the menu .. ridiculous. Almost 20 for Jerk chicken, rice and beans?!? Make it a little affordable … if a jerk chicken plate was $11, $2,50 drink, that’s like $20 pp after taxes and tips…if you can’t make a profit off of that, as a bone in chicken breast may cost $2… there ms a problem.

I don’t understand these places charging so much, then wondering why they went out of business.

My lunch was near $40 after tip
That’s a bit much, even for a north Baton Rouge Jamaican joint

Yea.. that’s stupid. And you probably won’t go again, right?

But if it was $20, you’d go back a few times….

See how that works
