Has anyone been recently? Recommendations on the tourney itself and/or food? I'll be staying closer to the tennis tournament and probably not doing downtown at all.

Can't speak for the tournament but I was in Cincy last week. Stayed downtown at the Hilton Netherland, where I've stayed in the past. I didn't have any issues and walked about normally, but there did seem to be more riff raff milling about than usual. There are also noticably more shuttered businesses downtown than an year ago.

Thanks for that info. I contemplated heading back downtown for the last night and finding a good dinner spot and exploring downtown, but some of the recent news prompted me just to stay put and enjoy the areas around the tournament.

I’d do goetta for breakfast one day, just for the novelty of it.
I also like Price Hill Chili.
Downtown and OTR have a good bit of viable restaurants and bars.
I’d also recommend passing thru Mt Adams neighborhood. Cool location on a hill overlooking river and downtown.
Low-key a very pretty city in places.
Just my 2 cents.

We went last year and really enjoyed it. The venue is fantastic. We paid for the club level (I think that's what it was called). Bathrooms, air conditioning, drinks, food, etc. We will return in the future.

Here now. I got 100 level center court seats that come with lounge access for the day session for $100, it’s great, but you’re baking in the sun. I’ll snag some club seats for tomorrow’s day session and move down for the night session.
It’s a great tournament for tennis fans. From a price standpoint, I’m not sure there’s a tournament that you can do that brings in the top talent, that you can watch so closely, and do it that for as cheap as this has been….due to it being in North Cincy. I will be back again
