This is EXACTLY what I and others have said since day one of Trumps presidency....
Just because the public isn't aware of investigations doesn't mean they aren't happening!

But the President has been very clear, the Attorney General, the FBI director have been very clear. They are looking at law-breaking. For people who broke the law, it’s not going to be a slap on the wrist, We’re sorry, have a nice life. It’s going to be, You’ve got to face consequences for it. I really think it’s our sacred obligation to the American people to ensure that those who broke the law pay the price for it.

Someone else can get you a better rundown. But here it is from a novice:

Access to
Court
Electronic
Records
Pacer is the electronic records of every federal case. Who knows, maybe every state and municipal too.
Inside the database contains a lot of important files.
Importantly, sealed and unsealed indictments.
I have no clue of depositions or evidence being contained in it. But all knowledge of who is suing who, vs who knows what is very important.
