I was a few weeks late to get Eco-Bran down this year...I forgot about it even though I bought the stuff in the spring knowing they would show up. Put it down after the problem revealed itself.

Fescue in the shady areas -Hit the hardest as it was somewhat dormant in the heat and an easy target.

Bermuda everywhere else -Where I noticed the buggers while checking browning areas.

Thought it was from the heat, but I have a sprinkler system and the right amount of water going down.

Already have fescue seed; was planning on overseeding this fall already.
Anything else besides the regular fertilizer and watering for the bermuda??

Yeah nothing you can do, happens to the best of us. Fear not, it’s just green damage and you’ll be green again soon.

I had it happen right before dormancy 2 years ago and it didn’t green back up before winter. I was a tab concerned but couldn’t even tell come spring. Actually forgot about it until after I was fully greened up.

Just kill the worms and the grass will sprout again amazingly fast. Just be sure it gets enough water.

Spinosad or Talstar work very well at killing them.
