Kelly addressed Nuss injury before Sloan's press conference:
Tidbits...nothing ground breaking:
WR Nic Anderson has had an extremely good camp...very talented and consistent.
Sloan thinks the offensive tackles have been excellent in terms of their growth. Lots of competition at offensive guard.
TE Bauer Sharp...plays hard on every snap...offense has fed off his energy.
Regarding the backup QB's: Van Buren has most experience...Sloan proud of his growth and how he has matured since he arrived at LSU. Hurley is super talented but still makes freshman mistakes...
Nuss handling the offense much better, especially with pre-snap checks...
Regarding true freshmen: Harlem Berry and Carius Curne standing out...

90 minutes of practice is a decent length this close to the season starting...

Van Buren will be taking first team reps and Aaron Anderson is no longer on the team
J/k
But wouldn’t surprise me

The only thing that changed from schedule, that I'm aware of, is that the press was originally supposed to be allowed viewing access today. Last night that was changed to tomorrow instead.

Do you know something we don't know cluckster? I know you usually do these for the press conferences during game weeks, but can't recall ever seeing you start a thread about practice and the press conference to follow. Although, my memory is shite.
With everything that happened a few days ago and how weird things have kind of been afterwards, I'm halfway expecting Nuss to have an injury that while maybe isn't season ending, it may keep him out a month or so. Obviously, I hope that's not the case, but I've been checking TD every few hours almost expecting to see a thread stickied with that info. They've had a lot of media come out and say he's not injured, so I hope those sources are correct.
Being a Saints/Pelicans/Astros fan, that's how I've come to expect things like this to play out.

What has happened that has led you to this conclusion? I have read and seen the same stuff you have and none of it leads me to this conclusion at all.

Nothing really. I probably worded that poorly.
It's more along the lines that I"ve just come to expect things like that to happen to teams I cheer for.

Do you think the wheels on the Nuss Buss go round and round?
