I know it's an unpopular opinion but that ESPN standalone app doesn't seem like the worst deal in the world.

If I get ESPN+ (which I need for work) & the WWE live PLEs for only the cost of my regular YouTube TV subscription... it's a great deal to me

Plus, and this will be big in your decision, they once showed a William Carey baseball game on ESPN+ the year Carey made it far enough in the NAIA World Series.

The ESPN deal apparently does not include NXT ppvs or the WWE video library. Word is that Netflix might be interested in the library. We'll have to wait and see what happens with NXT.

I don't think there's huge demand for the really old videos like territory stuff. They are better off just dumping more of that stuff on youtube. Today's wrestling fans aren't interested in anything pre late 90s WWF, WCW, or ECW.
