One of the top three steaks I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve had steaks all over the world.

If you want to eat a hanger steak that they don’t even serve a knife with because it’s so tender you can cut it with a fork, don’t miss this amazing restaurant in Houston before it closes for good.

Some pics of their amazing food...

Have to get the Butter Burgers too! Such a great place. Supposedly going to open something new.

Chef/owner has teenage boys and feels like he needs to focus his energy on them instead of the restaurant.

RIP pierogis and kimchi carbonara.

The article was pretty vague and mentioned declining revenue, but you never know if there’s more to the story.

All around, very sad to see it go but the restaurant scene in Houston is pretty spectacular so I’m looking forward to see what replaces it.

I’ve driven past that restaurant hundreds of times coming back from Raisin Canes, never realized that was Riel, I definitely need to try the hanger steak before they close. Sad to see another business close
