Hey, I'll be traveling to the Buffalo area for the 1st time with my adult son to go see the Saints play. I just wanted to get some information about the area. Maybe some good food recommendations? We're going to be there for 4 or 5 days, so we're thinking about going to see Niagara Falls and maybe even Toronto. What do you think? Any recommendations are appreciated whether they be food or activities.

Went back in 09. Did Niagara and took in a Jays game. Looks like they’re home vs BOS and TB that week. Sabres have a preseason game at home too.

The wing places are cool. Not really a food town so if you like wings you’re golden

Yeah, I actually saw that the Jays were playing and thought that would be super cool too. We do a thing every year where we travel to see new stadiums. So that would be a 2 for 1.

I go every couple of years because my wife is from there. The falls are cool but it’s better from the Canada side.

I like Gabriel’s Gate for chill atmosphere and wings. Anchor bar will be more popular but all the friends and family from there like gate better.

1. All of the houses on the street next to the stadium park cars for around $40. It’s a pretty cool setup.
2. Really cool tailgating. It’s a blue collar crowd.
3. Niagara Falls and the park are beautiful on the US side and they have some nice casinos but in the town itself the homeless are everywhere.
4. Best views of Niagara are on the Canadian side and do the boat thing. You will get drenched but it’s pretty awesome.

Been to Buffalo many times. Many I mean 5. They have festivals and you might find one that has a band. Casino is quite large. I saw the Falls from USA side. But Tonydatihah is correct about the Canadian side is a better view. I did not go over there but everyone says it's better view.

I have never played golf in Buffalo but any open course you can get on up there is in great shape. Weeds and heat aren't a problem. As long as the mow it's going to look good. Take your time doing anything you want to do because not a lot going on in Buffalo. Drink and be Merry. Buffalo fans love the Bills. Don't poke the bill fan if he ain't having a good day.

Hope you have a good time with your son. Lost my Dad last August.

Now that I think about it my Dad was in a big Ameture Tournament at Oak Hill in Rochester and I met him in Buffalo the last time I was there. Good memory.
