How do you guys like our chances of signing DeMarcus Cousins and Renardo Sidney?? If we could get these two guys I think we'll have one of the best classes. Cousins is rated as the #2 overall recruit. Ludwig and Dotson will be solid contributors as well.

i think its a huge stretch for either guy but it would be very good for the tigers to get one of these guys. we are looking pretty thin for next year especially if tasmin leaves.

Ludwig has a nice upside and recruited by a lot more schools than Farrer. Sidney will not be in BR next fall and Cousins is very doubtful.

Cousins is a UAB lock. I didn't think we stood much of a chance with Sidney, but my friend thought that we had a chance with him. He said that UCLA did not want him, so it could be between LSU, Miss. State, and USC.

Cousins has been all over Alabama, and in trouble at every stop. He's a whack job that I don't see fitting in with Trent Johnson. Cousins will end up wherever Mike Davis goes, UAB, Bama, or wherever.

yeah i agree he is going to follow davis, but memphis is big on him too. i just wish some more top players would consider the tigers other than sidney and cousins im not hearing much at all.

There was some buzz around the big man out of Florida but very quiet as of late. I'm hopeful there may be a serviceable big man in juco ranks.

Boys-

As you know, Cousins had committed to UAB but asked for a release if Coach Mike were to leave and they said "H NO!" so I do not think he ends up at UAB either way at this point. Cousins could be a 1 and done, but again, I promise you he is a HUGE recruit for LSU to pull in.

It just continues to develop our national recruiting ability and keeps us in the conversation with others. Memphis will have alot to say about Cousins but with Xavier Henry already committed and John Wahl about to commit to either Memphis or Kansas, there might not be enough egos in Memphis to go around.

Coach Cal has an UNBELIEVABLE class coming to Memphis and if Tyreke Evans stays, they will likely be your #1 team next year.

Cousins, IMO, is one of the biggest recruits of the past 10 years, not from talent, but because it will elevate us to Top 10-15 recruiting class with Tasmin coming back to lead the way. Setting the tone for the Trent Johnson era to flourish and establishing him as a national threat on the recruiting scene.

Do not underestimate this kid's long-term value to the program, even if he is only here for 1 year.

Again, IMHO.

Also don't forget our 2 Red Shirts.
Garrett Green- Who Coach TJ was glowing about9(and we know he doesn't do that much) and Dennis Harris. Harris at this point looks like a CJ clone. Hopefully he can put on some weight.
GG showed some signs as a true frosh on a bad team last year. He has good size, a nice stroke, and isn't afraid to get physical.

no doubt he would be huge for us, but what do you think are chances really are for this guy his name kinda just popped as far as lsu is concerned. i just don't feel like our chances are good and who is the guy out of florida.
