Anyone playing the new DLC?
This game always draws me back and then i just get locked in for a week or 2 of going all out. Nothing else in the market even touches the level of detail/smoothness of play that they accomplished and im glad they are happy to keep expanding on it rather than trying to release rimworld 2

I have not played much lately, but I agree with you overall. I guess it is fitting to follow the Dwarf Fortress model (or, heck, Oxygen Not Included) and just keep driving the current game towards perfection, selling the occasional (not Sims 4 level slop), quality DLC.

Haven't played in years but my Steam log of the time I put into it is almost unbelievable for what seemed like a short period of time.

I’ve been watching a few streams/videos of it and want to, but I just haven’t found the time yet. Getting set up to start is always the most daunting part for me

I've not picked up the dlc yet. I know that it sounds weird but I'm kind of seasonal with some games. I get the urge to play Rimworld when its colder outside for some reason.
I hate the thought of restarting my last save. I had sold my land and restarted at a new location for that one ending where you have to sell like 3 colonies. I put a lot of time into that one and I imagine that I'd have to start over when I get the new dlc.

Man I haven't played RimWorld since the OG version of survival. I think I still have it installed. May have to try that one out. Looks like a much different objective.
