What position group were you most hoping to see improvements in under BK?

Has he succeeded? Give him a grade A to F

Policeman escort at end of game. Haven't seen that really buff cop that used to walk with Les to shake other coaches hand end of game. For that, an F.

But for real DBs. It's gotten worse since his 1st year. According to On3, we have 2 of top 15 safeties in the country. We have Pickett, the next Stingley supposedly, coming in. Stamps will be pretty good, not great, but pretty good. Delane had 6 turnovers and 7 PD last year. So thinking we SHOULLDDD get it corrected.

QB he has been great. A heisman winner, and potentially 2 top 3 overall draft picks out of just 2 QBs he has had here.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this may be a Les Miles DB room. Bk has done fairly well in the transfer portal. Not just this years class, but some prior as well. However, this year was by far his best performance in the transfer portal.

Considering the roster when he was hired, almost every position group has gotten better.

Not sure what the point of your post was other than useless BK bashing.

The roster is currently in the best shape it’s been in since 2019.

Now we have to wait and see if that translates into a playoff birth or more.

Thus far, a solid B+ for improvements across the board

If the Defense improves like it did last year (I expect even more improvement in the 2nd year under Baker) I'll probably be on the A+ grade after the season

Safety position. Glad we dumped sage Ryan's arse on ole miss and signed the guys we did in the portal. Should be deep at that position this year and looking forward to seeing how it affects the amount of big plays we give up this season compared to last. Looking forward to our coaches taking advantage of sage this season too knowing his weaknesses and mismatches to line up with him and exploit him.

I see safety position group improving from a c- or d last year to a b+ or a this season. Should be a huge improvement.

Also looking for big improvements from our dl and edge rushers specifically. We have alot of talent and depth at that position this season. Most we've had in the kelly era by far.

I’m concerned about our Running Back position tbh..all others positions are good. I just feel like we need 2 backs that can take control of the game. We only have 1 back that can do that as of now

one of the two freshman backs will get a good amount of carries. Lindsey may get a good bit and the other one will ,for sure, get used in the passing game . he could have been a high 4 star receiver if he wasnt a rb. im just not sure if he will get a bunch of traditional rb touches as a freshman because of his size coming in. until he puts some muscle ,on or just size in general, head be a gadget type player.
hes similar to Durham

For me, it was OL

His ND teams had some great lines with mobile but strong guards. When a team struggles but can dominate the LOS they tend to have a winning record and it is a great rebuilding point of focus.

I would grade BK out at B-

Recruiting has been good.
Physical specimens have been there but the performance hasn't quite lived up to expectations. This may be more of a position coach issue.
With so much matriculation last year this year is a question mark.
Unfortunately in SEC depth is always an issue for the big guys.
